Older Black Forest One-Day Cuckoo. My guess is about 30 years old. A steal at an auction, both bellows needed repair, bent gear tooth, cleaning, oiling, new chains - works GREAT and keeps perfect time! On the wall in the Garage.

Craig's List find. Black Forest One-Day. New still in box, never been used. Guess about five years old. Keeps perfect time! On the wall in the Game Room.

Family Heirloom. 1956 Schatz Royal Mariner Striking Bell. Some work done on it in 2008. Keeps good time. Ding- Ding! On the wall in the Dining Room.

Schatz Striking Bell. New Works 2012. Beautiful sound! Ding-Ding! On the wall in the Garage.

The latest project. Bought from Dave at Jake's Flea Market. (Thanks, Dave!) Large Black Forest Hunter Eight-Day. Two doors: cuckoo + man that plays music. Guess ~25+ years old. Missing roof segment, Horn Mouthpiece. Bellows needs replacement. Left antler broken. Gong hammer bent. All that I have found so-far. Will Update the Gallery as work progresses.

Another Project. Got it from Dave at Jake's Flea Market. (Thanks again, Dave!) Repair to the lower bellows, cuckoo door needed adjustment, bent gear on cuckoo movement, oiled. Works and 'tuning' it now.
